An anti-gay marriage demonstration in Paris turned violent Sunday when a group of topless Ukranian feminists showed up to challenge the Catholic-lead protest. Members of Femen, the notoriously half-nude cohort, sprayed white powder as they chanted "in gay we trust" at the protestors who, in return, hit and pushed the Femen activists to the ground. Photos showed others spraying the activists with mace. The Catholic group Civitas had organized the demonstration in opposition to a draft law to legalize gay marriage in France.
