The second woman to accuse Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax of sexual assault is willing to testify at any impeachment hearing, her attorney said. Meredith Watson alleges that Fairfax raped her in 2000 while they were both students at Duke University. Her accusation came days after Dr. Vanessa Tyson accused Fairfax of forcing her to perform oral sex during an 2004 encounter when they were in Boston for the Democratic National Convention. Fairfax, who said in a statement Saturday that all contact was consensual, has resisted calls to resign even as a state lawmaker has vowed to begin the process to impeach him on Monday. Watson’s lawyer said her client would appear at any hearing, the Associated Press reported.
