A mother and daughter from Virginia died in Tuesday’s Germanwings crash in the French Alps. Raymond Selke confirmed to The Washington Post that his wife, Yvonne Selke, and daughter Emily were aboard the ill-fated plane. A third unidentified American was killed, according to the State Department. The flight disappeared from radar while flying from Barcelona to Dusseldorf. Most of the 150 killed in the crash were German and Spanish nationals. French officials will hold a press conference later Wednesday regarding the investigation and recovery efforts.
