US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to Travel to Kyiv Sunday, Zelensky Reports
Blinken will be joined by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, and the officials are planning to discuss which weapons Ukraine needs to continue their defense against Russia.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced Saturday that U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will travel to Kyiv, Ukraine, on Sunday. According to Zelensky, Blinken will be joined by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin to discuss which weapons Ukraine needs to continue fighting the Russian invasion. Blinken will become the most high-ranking U.S. official to journey to the besieged country since the war against Moscow began in February.
