He has some very large shoes to fill. Michael Bay has announced that Mark Wahlberg will star in Transformers 4, set to be released in June 2014. Bay and Wahlberg also worked together on the upcoming body-builder thriller, Pain & Gain, which costars Dwayne Johnson. Bay said in a press release, “Mark is awesome. We had a blast working on Pain & Gain, and I’m so fired up to be back working with him. An actor of his caliber is the perfect guy to re-invigorate the franchise and carry on the Transformers’ legacy."
