The world's largest retailer is selling "Mom" and "Dad Remembered" steel versions for $895 and bronze renditions for $2,899, prices that undercut many funeral-home rates. The caskets can be dispatched within 48 hours and paid for over 12 months with no interest. A spokesman said the product line was part of "a limited test to understand customer response."
