‘Walking Dead’ Creator Suing AMC

The Walking Dead creator Frank Darabont is taking his workplace grievances to court. He and the Creative Artists Agency are suing AMC, claiming the network is witholding “tens of millions of dollars in profits, despite delivering to AMC the most popular show on all of television and the most popular show in the history of cable.” The suit also argues that Darabont, who was fired from the show after the first season, was wrongly let go, and that he is owed compensation for an upcoming spinoff as well as Talking Dead, the show’s offshoot. AMC has not commented on the suit.
