Walmart has become the latest retail giant to consider the use of unmanned aerial vehicles as part of its customer service. According to Reuters, Walmart applied with U.S. regulators for permission to test drones for home delivery, curbside pickup, and checking warehouse inventories. The company has reportedly been testing drones indoors for the past several months, but will need the permits to move the tests outdoors.
