The Federal Election Commission has made it possible for supporters to donate to their favorite presidential candidate’s campaigns by lifting no more than a finger. Ah, the wonders of technology. Though text-message contributions may seem like a quick and easy way to play your part in the election, they’re a little annoying for the campaigns because donations could take up to 60 days to come through. Still, text contributions could revitalize the grassroots support system that Obama, at least, has been struggling to hold on to.
