This doesn’t make for a magical movie experience. Four days before the latest Harry Potter movie is set to be released, the first 36 minutes were leaked online, causing an investigation by Warner Brothers. The watermarked footage was available for download on the BitTorrent file-sharing sites IsoHunt.com and PirateBay.com as late as Wednesday, despite Warner Brothers’ attempts to have the illegal downloads removed. Although Harry Potter is the most successful film franchise in history, some worry audiences won’t turn out for the final film's first installment after seeing the early minutes of the film. A studio spokesperson said the film was not stolen from the premieres in London and New York.
