Golden State Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr said Thursday he would take time off to recover from back surgery. Kerr, who underwent two surgeries in July and September to repair a ruptured disc, said there was no timeframe on when he plans to return to his defending NBA champions. “At this point, the most important thing is to make sure Steve is healthy, completely recovered, and ready for not only the rigors of a long NBA season, but day-to-day life in general,” said Warriors General Manager Bob Myers.
