The Washington Post’s mobile website appeared to have been hacked Thursday by the Syrian Electronic Army. A pop-up message box saying, “You’ve been hacked by the Syrian Electronic Army!” appeared, then changed to “Saudi Arabia and its allies are killing hundreds of Yemens people everyday” as users clicked “OK.” It changed to messages like “US govt is training the terrorists to kill more Syrians” and “The media is always lying” before landing on a blank page with the message, “Hacked by SEA.” A spokesman for the newspaper has said they are looking into the hack.
