When Texas homeowner Doug Dallmer stepped into his garage Thursday night, he was greeted by a 300-pound alligator.
“I took two steps in and his head was literally right there,” Dallmer told KSAT.
Dallmer called the police, who arrived with a professional gator wrangler. As the wrangler struggled to reel in Dallmer's houseguest with a rope, the massive reptile hissed and thrashed around, knocking over several shelves of equipment.
Lucky for us, Dallmer caught it all on video.
It’s already been a strangely eventful year for alligators. Just since May, there have been at least two incidents of the animals eating human remains, an alligator killed a toddler at Disney World, and an unbelievably huge gator was spotted wandering around a Florida golf course.
