Sterling Lorence / Sweetgrass

From Sweetgrass Productions, the same crew who brought you the brilliantly lit, and made, ski film Afterglow, is back. Working this time with some of the greatest, and gnarliest, mountain bikers in the world, this stylistic sequel, Darklight, follows a dedicated team who lugged thousands of pounds of gear miles into the backcountry to shoot riders risking it all for these groundbreaking dark-of-night shots.

At turns both psychedelic dream sequence and adrenalin-soaked wild ride, the project follows professional riders Graham Agassiz, Matt Hunter, and Matty Miles on a trek through the deserts of Utah to the otherworldly forests of the Pacific Northwest, all the while lit up like a Pink Floyd blacklight poster in a college dorm room. Seen here for the first time in full, burn these seven minutes of groundbreaking action sports cinema into your retinas.
