Three Phoenix police officers were just standing outside a gas station early Tuesday morning when a man rammed his car into them at high speed—and the whole thing was captured in a surveillance video.
Police say Marc Payne, 44, deliberately crashed his red sedan into the officers, seriously injuring two of them. The third jumped out of the way. Payne then got out of his car and struggled violently with the cops for a few minutes before they finally arrested him.
Authorities say Payne has been charged with three counts of attempted murder and two counts of aggravated assault.
