In Kendrick Lamar’s new video for the track “Alright,” cops carry a car full of Lamar and friends on their shoulders like a coffin. Shots are fired, money is thrown out of windows, and Lamar floats through the air above the chaos, flying through the streets as he sings the song’s hook, “We gonna be alright.” It’s a striking, beautifully surreal video.
