In a moment that seems set to go down in the annals of idiocy, Meghan was seen assembling a care package for her longtime friend, makeup artist Daniel Martin.
With an air of domestic determination, Meghan pulled out a bumper bag of supermarket pretzels, declaring that she was too exhausted to make anything from scratch.
So, what’s a fatigued duchess to do? Why, simply take the pretzels out of one bag… and put them into another. Groundbreaking.
Meghan went on to affix a darling little home made label to the new bag, explaining, “I know that Daniel loves peanut butter, but I’m gonna label this anyway. You always want to be conscious if someone has a nut allergy.”
Wise words, but did the original bag not already have an ingredients list?
After a clip from the show went viral, social media did not hold back—and now the moment has caught the attention of late-night host Jimmy Fallon, who turned it into a mock trivia segment on The Tonight Show, poking fun at Meghan’s rather unique approach to homemade gifts.
“What is the number one question that mystifies scientists?” Steve Higgins asked the talk show host.
“Is there life on another planet?” Fallon responded.
“Why does Meghan Markle make her own pretzel bags. They don’t know why,” Higgins responded.
“She takes it from one bag and puts it in another bag. That confuses people,” Fallon said.
