President Obama made his first pardon as president Wednesday morning—to a turkey named Courage, who’s now headed off to live in Disneyland. "Thanks to the intervention of Malia and Sasha, because I was planning to eat this sucker, Courage will also be spared this terrible and delicious fate,” Obama said at the Rose Garden, continuing a Thanksgiving tradition in place since Harry Truman was in the White House.
