Yesterday the world lost one of its most gifted musical talents. The wholeness of Prince as an artist was never more apparent than during his live performances. His intoxicating energy and musical mastery was nothing short of magic.
In the past decades Prince famously fought to keep his music offline, however certain performances still remain in pop culture’s consciousness years later even with no available video. His Creep cover at Coachella in 2008 is one of most mythologized moments in Prince's canon and, this week, a video miraculously became available online.
The eight-minute marvel is Prince at his best. Enjoy.
