A burglary suspect with the tenacity of the Terminator attempted to flee multiple police vehicles in Houston on Tuesday, and the entire epic chase was caught on video.
Footage from Click 2 Houston’s helicopter camera shows the suspect running desperately through a field as a Houston Police Department helicopter and SUV close in on him. The SUV runs the man over, but he keeps running.
That’s when the T-1000 comes in.
Off camera at first, a helmeted police officer in the HPD helicopter jumps onto the grass and runs after the suspect, then tackles him. The suspect gets up again. The cop tackles him again. Finally, the suspect stays down as the SUV and three more officers swarm in on him and arrest him.
As one observer on Facebook commented, “They just released the name of the pilot. Chuck Norris.”
