It’s a clip from his forthcoming documentary, Ferrell Takes the Field, coming Sept. 8 on HBO. In the show, he plays 10 positions for 10 different Major League Baseball teams during just one day during this year’s spring training.
If it’s a stunt that immediately makes you scratch your head and ask “Why?,” you probably didn’t grow up a boy obsessed with all things baseball. But rather than try to explain the ability of the rich and famous to make their childhood fantasies come true, let’s just leave it with reports the actor raised a million dollars for charity in the process.
