‘Watchman’ Sets First-Day Sales Record

Harper Lee’s newly released novel, Go Set a Watchman, has set a new record for first-day sales in the adult fiction category at Barnes & Noble, a title previously held by Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol. The novel, a “sequel” to Lee’s classic To Kill a Mockingbird, is on track to become the bestselling book of 2015 and is the most pre-ordered print title on Amazon since the last Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
