Some of Harvey Weinstein’s accusers are speaking out after the disgraced Hollywood mogul was put into handcuffs by the New York Police Department this morning. “We got you, Harvey Weinstein, we got you,” actress Rose McGowan, who claims she was raped by Weinstein at the 1997 Sundance Film Festival, tweeted. “I feel shocked. I would say it's just so big,” McGowan also said in a Friday morning appearance on Good Morning America. “I have to admit I didn't think I would see the day that he would have handcuffs on him… I have a visceral need for him to have handcuffs on.” Asia Argento, who says she was raped by Weinstein in Cannes in the 1990s, wrote in a tweet, “Today Harvey Weinstein will take his first step on his inevitable descent to hell. We, the women, finally have real hope for justice.” She added that he “ain’t smiling now.” Dozens of women have come forward accusing Weinstein of sexual assault and harassment. He was arrested today on charges of first- and third-degree rape and first-degree criminal sex acts.
