A website based in the U.S. claimed it was the victim of a hacking attack Friday. The Chinese-language site has given extensive coverage to the scandal surrounding Chinese politician Bo Xilai, whose wife is under investigation in the murder case of a British businessman. It is not yet clear who launched the denial-of-service attack on Boxun.com, which is based in North Carolina, but the site’s manager told reporters that he thinks Chinese security forces are to blame. Bo Xilai was removed from his Politburo position, and the inquiry into Neil Heywood’s November death continues.
