Former Rep. Anthony Weiner has been calling New York power brokers, hoping for a say in who takes over his congressional seat, says the New York Post. “I'm pretty sure he's spoken to everybody,” a source tells the New York Post. "He knows the district better than anyone else. He's interested in a Democrat keeping the seat.” People Weiner has spoken with include, apparently, Queens Democratic Party chairman, Rep. Joe Crowley.
