The White House was placed on lockdown Friday afternoon after a person attempted to climb the outer fence with two "suspicious" bags, according to the Secret Service. The climber was taken into custody and Washington, D.C.'s bomb squad was called to screen the bags. If the suspect was hoping for a meet with President Obama, he was in for disappointment anyway—the president is in Michigan for the signing of the new Farm Bill.
