House Speaker John Boehner said Tuesday that President Obama’s recent offer to avert the fiscal cliff is “not there yet.” Meanwhile, the White House rejected Boehner's "Plan B" to push a backup tax bill, saying that it woudln't pass the Senate. But Boehner is still hoping to reach a deal with the president. Boehner recently moved away from his tax increase aversion and offered to raise taxes on income over $1 million.
