The Trump administration is preparing to attack former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn’s credibility if he implicates Donald Trump in a criminal investigation, The Washington Post reports. Flynn pleaded guilty this month to one felony count of lying to the FBI, and is cooperating with special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into alleged interference in the 2016 election. If Flynn accuses Trump or any of Trump’s close aides of criminal activity, the White House is reportedly preparing to describe Flynn as dishonest. “He’s said it himself: He’s a liar,” one person involved in the plan told the Post.
