President Trump will donate $1 million dollars to help with Hurricane Harvey relief, the White House said Thursday. “As I said, he’ll pledge probably $1 million of his own personal money to help the people of both Texas and Louisiana,” press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told the media. Sanders did not specify which charity the president intends to support. As one liberal writer noted, the $1-million pledge for hurricane relief is “$4 million less than when he offered Barack Obama $5 million for his birth certificate.”
