A white woman called the cops on a black man who was babysitting two white children, local news outlet CBS 46 reports. In an interview, Corey Lewis said a white woman approached him in a Walmart parking lot in Cobb County, Georgia, and asked him if the children were OK. According to Lewis, the woman came back a second time and asked if she could speak with the 10-year-old and the 6-year-old. Lewis said no, at which point the woman reportedly called the police and started following him. He then began recording the ordeal on Facebook Live. “All because I have two kids in the backseat that do not look like me, this lady has taken it upon herself to say she’s going to take my plate down and call the police,” Lewis told the camera. The woman reportedly followed Lewis and the children back to his home. A Cobb County police officer then showed up, questioned the children, and called their parents. David Parker and Dana Mango said they scheduled Lewis, a family friend, to babysit for them three weeks ago. Parker said Lewis got stopped and questioned “for B-W-B, which I guess is the new thing, babysitting while black.”
