Whitney's Annual Star-Studded Fall Gala

The annual Whitney Museum of Art Fall Gala brought out New York City’s finest on Monday, October 19. As a sponsor of the event, Donatella Versace took to the red carpet, joined by a metallic-clad collection of beautiful young stars and fashionistas, including Lindsay Lohan, Jennifer Hudson, Shakira, Taylor Momsen, Alexa Chung, Chanel Iman, Charlotte Ronson, the Missshapes’ Leigh Lezark, Mischa Barton, Lake Bell, Lisa Edelstein, Nigel Barker, Gerard Butler, and Candice Bergen. It was the famed designer’s second year hosting the glamorous affair and rightfully deserved said Barton. “She’s just cool, everyone knows that,” the actress explained. Artists Chuck Close and Ellsworth Kelly also made an appearance, as well as Marilyn Minter, who shot her first commercial work for the design sponsor. “I was very scared, but they were happy,” Minter recalled of the experience.
