Wife of Eagles Co-Founder Fatally Shot

Lana Rae Meisner, the wife of co-founder and ex-member of The Eagles, was fatally shot Sunday at the couple’s California home, police said. Law-enforcement sources told TMZ that Lana Rae had called 911 to report a domestic-violence incident an hour and a half before Randy called to report his wife had been shot. She claims he was waiving a BB gun and “acting erratically.” Randy reportedly told police that he was not with her at the time she was shot. He says she went into another room and closed the door before he heard a gunshot.
