British pedal pusher Bradley Wiggins soared to victory in the Tour de France on Sunday, pumping his fist in the air as he tore down the Champs-Élysées to his country’s first win ever. The 32-year-old Wiggins had secured victory in time trials Saturday. The athlete’s attention is likely already on his hometown of London and the Olympic Games, where he will contend for a fourth gold medal in the individual time trial. Thousands of Union Jack–waving Brits lined the Champs to cheer Wiggins across the finish line.
