The newlyweds have been quickly put to work: Britain’s Prince William and wife Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, land in Ottawa, Canada, on Thursday afternoon for their first official overseas tour. The couple will visit seven cities in the Commonwealth member state, and one of their first official duties will be to celebrate Canada’s national day on July 1. The visit will cost the Canadian government nearly $1.5 million, and the British Invasion will continue when Will and Kate head to California on July 8.
