Replicating a famous photograph of Princess Diana that came to symbolize her broken marriage, William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, sat on a bench in front of the Taj Mahal while visitng India this weekend. Downplaying the moment, an aide said, “It is what all visitors to the Taj Mahal do—they sit on the bench with the perfect symmetry of the building behind them.”
