Prince William told his dad that he should be flattered to be described as 'buff' today, as he went diving in a pool in central London at anevent where Charles was formally handing over his presidency of the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC) after 40 years to William
Chairman of the British Sub-Aqua Society, Eugene Farrell, described Charles as being 'quite buff' during his own diving days.
Charles raised a quizzical eyebrow and it fell to his son to tell him, "Pa, you should be pleased!"
Before William entered the pool, Charles joked, "I know my eldest will now demonstrate his buff credentials".
William slipped into a wet suit and got into the outdoor pool, snorkelling with a group of eight-year-olds.
A fun event? yes. But buff? Not so much, wethinks.
