Die Hard or drink hard, it’s apparently all the same to actor Bruce Willis. This week, Willis acquired 3.3 percent of French wine and spirits maker Belvedere as part of a long-term investment. But although he’s now a major shareholder, the action star won’t get a seat on Belvedere’s board of directors. Jacques Rouvroy, Belvedere’s chairman and chief executive, said Willis’ schedule is too busy to allow him to attend board meetings. However, Willis will appear in ads for the company. Belvedere produces Belvedere vodka, Sobieski vodka, and William Peel whisky.
