A creative Florida mom ended a hostage situation when she put in a call to 911—through a pizza order. Cheryl Treadway convinced boyfriend Ethan Nickerson, who was armed with a knife and holding her and three children, to let her place an online Pizza Hut order. In addition to ordering a small classic pepperoni and some garlic bread, Treadway added a message: “Please help. Get 911 to me.” The restaurant recognized her as a frequent customer and sent police over. Nickerson was apprehended.
