A Venezuelan woman was caught on Friday at a Madrid airport after smuggling 1.7 kilograms of cocaine from Colombia inside her breast implants. “During a check of passengers from a plane from Bogota, the gestures and behavior of a supposed tourist raised the suspicions of narcotics agents,” police said in a statement. The woman made it through baggage search but officers became suspicious during a pat-down when they discovered “certain irregularities and deformations in both breasts.” The 43-year-old woman then confessed to officers about the implants and was taken to a hospital where the implants were removed.
