Police said Monday they arrested a Florida woman who was livestreaming herself while driving drunk on social-media app Periscope. Authorities said they received 911 calls from Periscope viewers, who watched as 23-year-old Whitney Beall admitted to driving drunk while on the app. A video from the stream appears to show Beall saying several times that she was drunk. Lakeland police said they do not allow officers to download apps like Periscope on work phones, but an officer used a personal account to try and locate Beall. The woman failed a field sobriety test and refused to take a breath test before she was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
