A Silicon Valley recycling firm is offering $100,000 to woman who unknowingly threw away a rare Apple 1 computer that sold for $200,000 in a private auction. The computer was discovered by CleanBayArea among boxes donated by a woman who was cleaning out her garage after her husband died. The woman did not request a tax receipt or leave her contact information, according to CleanBayArea Vice President Victor Gichun. CleanBayArea is looking to locate the woman in order to evenly split the proceeds from the sale with her.
