Sporting events aren't just dangerous for players these days, but for fans too. A drunken fan who was heckling Tiger Woods on the 11th hole of The Players Championship was tasered by security on Friday. After Travis Parmelee, 36, refused to quiet down, despite warnings from security guards, deputies resulted to Tasering him. The Jacksonville native was subsequently charged with disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest. Last week, an overly enthusiastic Phillies fan was Tasered after running out onto the playing field. His parents have since apologized, and the Philadelphia police stood behind the Tasering. Despite the drunken heckling, Woods did make the cut after the second round, though he is nine strokes back from the lead.
