Golf star Tiger Woods will return to therapy after speaking publicly for the first time Friday morning about his infidelities, according to a letter from PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem to the PGA policy board, the Associated Press reports. Finchem’s letter is an attempt to explain Woods’ timing—his statement, to be carried live by TV networks, will likely distract from the ongoing Accenture Match Play Championship. "As we understand it, Tiger's therapy called for a week's break at this time during which he has spent a few days with his children and then will make his statement before returning," the letter says. "Accordingly, there was very little flexibility in the date for the announcement." Woods will speak at 11 a.m. at the TPC Sawgrass clubhouse (The Daily Beast will livestream the speech at that time) and Finchem promised the statement would be over before the televised third round of the championship. "It's selfish," golfer Ernie Els said of the timing earlier.
