What happens in Vegas will now be able to be seen from pretty high up. The world’s largest Ferris wheel, expected to be completed on Monday in Las Vegas, will be 100 feet higher than the London Eye. The outer wheel on the 55-story High Roller is expected to be placed on Monday, part of a $550 million Linq development. The High Roller, which will be taller than the Bellagio, is part of a planned outdoor plaza across from Caesars Palace that is expected to open this winter. Like the London Eye, the High Roller will have 40-people pods and will have a 30-minute revolution—although there will also be audiovisual shows to complement the view (especially for famously unfocused Americans).
