World’s Oldest Woman Dies at 116

On Monday, the world’s oldest woman, Gertrude Weaver, died of pneumonia at the age of 116. The Arkansas native was given the title on April 1 after the death of 117-year-old Misao Okaway, who lived in Japan, was announced.
