Rep. Gabrielle Giffords’ aide Ron Barber, who was shot in the cheek and thigh in the deadly Tucson rampage, returned to work Tuesday after six months. Barber, 65, a district director, was one of 13 people injured with the Congresswoman at the January 8th shooting that also killed six. “I was actually moved to tears when I first walked through because I really love these people, and I was just so pleased to be back with them,” Barber said. Staff and interns greeted Barber with balloons and a banner that said “Welcome Back” at Giffords’ congressional office in Tucson.
