Mexican pro wrestler El Hijo del Perro Aguayo (Perro Aguayo Jr.) died last night after suffering a fatal injury in the ring in a match in Tijuana with ex-WWE star Rey Mysterio Jr. and wrestlers Extreme Tiger and Manik of TNA. Aguayo, the son of a lucha libre legend with his own celebrated career in Mexico's Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), had just been dropkicked into the ropes to take Mysterio’s signature 619 move in a tag-team event when he went noticeably limp. His fellow performers swiftly finished the match before Aguayo was taken to Del Prado Hospital, where he was declared dead around 1 a.m. "The grief overwhelms our hearts. Rest in peace, Perro Aguayo, Jr.,” Lucha Libre AAA tweeted.
