A Pennsylvania man whose wife was suffering from advanced Alzheimer’s attempted to end it all by shooting her and killing himself on Friday. Izak Waide, 92, contacted the couple’s son in New York before the shooting and said that he couldn’t take it anymore and wanted to end his wife’s suffering. Their son contacted police but it was too late. Waide’s wife, 92-year-old Malka Waide, was shot in the head but is expected to survive.
