The Nevada Gaming Control Board handed down a $20 million fine to Wynn Resorts for its handling of sexual-harassment allegations against casino magnate and former Republican National Committee Finance Chair Steve Wynn, local news station KLAS reports. The board reportedly claimed the resort failed to “properly investigate” the harassment and misconduct allegations against Wynn, which were revealed in a report by The Wall Street Journal. After the allegations surfaced, Wynn stepped down from his respective roles at the RNC and as CEO of Wynn Resorts. The RNC did not return the $1.3 million Wynn donated to the committee after the allegations made news, with Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel claiming the committee would not do so unless he was found guilty.
