Clashes between Houthi rebels and local forces intensified in Yemen's Aden on Wedenesday, as the two groups battled for control of the southern port city. A week of Saudi-led airstrikes did not deter Houthi forces as they advanced with tanks to the center of Yemen's second largest city, fighting off forces loyal to President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi. Witnesses and local journalists reported heavy civilian casualties from the clashes, a major concern as fighting continues to grip much of the country. At least 33 people were killed in an explosion at a dairy factory overnight, which company officials and witnesses said was caused by a Saudi airstrike.
